Color

It's fun to play with the light and take pictures of the same thing. There is no flash or shutter time option so it's basically all about figuring out which angles have the least amount of streetlights. It changes the color a lot.

Sharper

This one is one of the more in focus ones. I don't know which I like better for sure.

Night

Here is another of the good ol' Williamsburg bridge. Plus camera phone. Plus nighttime.

Blurry

I took this picture with my phone. At night, obviously. I actually got quite a few better pictures than this one. But I like how the blurriness makes it look like a painting.

Graffiti

It's a prettier blog with a picture on the top.

They're outta' control!!!

I know that I've talked to Bungalow Bill about this, but seriously. What the heck is going on in China? Make sure you check the backlog of articles.

Is it just me

or does the IRS and the US government hate poor people?

Or maybe I'm just bitter because it's getting to be that time of year again.

Blue Sky

The other day I decided to take advantage of one of the warm sunny days and bring my camera along for a dog walk. I've been needing to update my blog with a new picture. I was practicing my digital camera light metering and made the sky turn out really blue in this one. It's another picture of (suprise!!!) industrial buildings turned housing on the waterfront.

Winter

I took this picture with the camera phone with the intention of getting a picture of the bleak winter scene here in Brooklyn. It's nothing but concrete and bare trees. I figured that it would just come out super over exposed when I took it. It was too bright to really see it on screen on my phone due to the glare so when I got home and transfered it to my computer, I was really suprised at how it turned out. I certainly didn't think the sun would turn black. Creepy!

Thanks Big Bro!!!

I received my gift from Woolybugger today from UPS (which is a great reminder to send mine out!!!) Anyway, luckily I heard the bell ring this morning as I was getting out of the shower.

You might be able to tell I really like my new shoes. I spent the morning playing dress up. This is a picture of one of the outfits as seen in the reflection in the bathroom mirror.

Anyway, Shelby is staring at me. It's time to change to a warmer outfit and take a walk.
